Norwin

Norwin is the medieval world of my Middle Grade fantasy, which I'm releasing on Kindle later this year!

In light of this, I thought I'd introduce you to the landscape and say that Norwin is a land of kingdoms, villages, and bright ocean cities, sunny meadows, dark mountains, and moonlit lakes.

Also, there are glints of magic and a fantastic creature or two.

I'll write more about the book in time, but for now some pictures of Norwinian scenery.

Welcome!

And Happy Halloween! :D

  1. Wow, isn't that castle stunning!

And I suppose those are Gypsy wagons in the photos, but around here they call them sheep wagons, and I'd never heard of them before this summer. But I met a man who refurbishes them. He offers two at his bed and breakfast for guests to sleep in if they want. They were tiny but perfectly redone, stove and all.

    Great pictures of Norwin.

  2. I know, incredible isn't it.

I call them caravans in the book. As a kid I always wanted to live in one. I didn't know they were called sheep wagons, good to know! The B&B idea is fantastic - how clever and fun. Glad you enjoyed the pics.

  3. How BEAUTIFUL! I love this post. Norwin sounds like an absolutely enchanting world. What a setting for a medieval fantasy story :) You've inspired me - maybe I'll do a post like this sometime soon as well!

  5. Hi Julie! Oh, you must! Building a picture-world adds a whole new dimension to writing. Can't wait to visit the world of Pumpkin Patch Princess ;)

Donna: Me too! They look so fun and would make travel writing a breeze :D
