Maxfield Parrish (1870-1966) was an American artist who created vivid fusions of photograph and paint. Every image is a lucid world of towering cloudscapes, majestic mountains, and magnificent marble halls. Shining with surreal luminescence, his work is lovely, golden and striking.

I think the chefs with spoons is my favorite. There's an element of whimsy there.
