Hi, how is everyone? If I've still got any readers, you may be singing "now I'm just somebody that you used to know!" I haven't blogged for a while, but: I wrote a new book. I really can't wrap my head around it. It is a Beast. I don't know how long the manuscript is as I still have to type what's scrawled inside of notebooks. I do know only 10% of it's useable and 80% is crap, so that's lousy (O.o)
But! The story is 80% clearer (I can see it standing against the wall!)

The Gotye song, however, is awesome. I mean, body paint and xylophones. This tune really gets under the skin. Slightly avant-garde, deceptively simple; the perfect, underlying tension is mesmerizing. Love the vocals, love the chorus, love that there's two sides to every story.
The hard part is figuring out which side to tell... *nervously eyes Draft Two*
